From an actual thank you card:

“I was truly at wits end with my dizziness so I could hardly believe how quickly I felt normal again. I can’t thank you enough ”

-  Cheryl

Balance information comes from our eyes, inner ears, and balance receptors in our joints and small postural muscles. When any (or all) of these three systems is upset in any way, the result may be a sensation of spinning, or vertigo.

While vertigo can be a sign of a serious underlying health condition, fortunately, most cases of vertigo are a result of less serious causes, but the symptoms can be just as incapacitating.

Many types of vertigo respond very well with conservative treatments. At Maloney Elkassem Wellness Center, we offer a wide variety of treatment options tailored to treat vertigo.

Some of the most common treatment methods we use to treat vertigo are Active Release Techniques (ART) soft tissue therapy, joint manipulation, Acupuncture, Activator joint adjustments, Trigger Point therapy and other soft tissue therapies and stretches which are directed at correcting any dysfunction in muscles and joints. Epley Maneuver (designed to reposition misplaced calcium crystals in the inner ear), and Vestibular Rehabilitation Training are directed at correcting dysfunction in the balance system. If it’s ever apparent that you need treatment beyond what we can provide, we will refer you to one of the many other health professionals that we trust.

We provide relief for many types of vertigo. If you suffer from vertigo, you owe it to yourself to call us…
